Hey Aurelie, thanks for setting up the group - I wish this had existed when I first found out I was pregnant as it would have been great to share what everyone’s doing scaling wise etc. I’m just coming up to 34 weeks now still doing 3-4 classes a week but finding all the scaled movements really boring now, I can’t wait to jump on a box and swing from the rig again!!
@Bridie aaahh you're so welcome! And well done for doing 3-4 wods a week at 34 weeks! That's so inspiring! 😍 Do you find you're more tired after having done a wod that day? I often find I'm buzzing for 2 hours then tired earlier during the day if I've been to the gym. I bet they're boring now though 🙈😂 I'm already sad I'm not allowed to do kipping pull ups anymore! And also overly cautious with weightlifting and trying to keep the bar close but not THAT close 😅
Yes through the week I just about get through but sat and Sunday I need a nap come 11am after the classes 😂 you’ll hopefully be just about coming out of that tired stage now though and will probs get all your energy back!! I reduced the weight loads so that I could feel more in control of the bar, I think you just know what’s right for you 👌 x
@Amy yes the c2 is mind numbing 🤣🤣 not long for me and you to go now until we can get back into it again! What date in sept are you due??
If I’m lucky enough to have a straight forward birth then I’ll probs just go back to the normal gym after 4 weeks to do some light strength training and then ease myself back into CrossFit after 6…but who knows how things will go! What are you thinking? X
@Amy oh interesting about the lunges. And shoulder press, that's impressive! 💪🏼 My pre/post natal pt friend said she had never heard such a thing 😂 I'll keep lunging until I can't anymore haha.
