@Bethan perfect thank you!!
I have used nuzest which is plant based because it's nicer on my tummy but I've also eaten protein bars here and there (less though as I didn't fancy them) I went off my overnight oats sadly but slowly slowly having them again. It's a bit of a earthy taste which hasn't agreed with me. I used to go to bed looking forward to breakfast which has been a bit sad to go off them. I stopped taking creatine but also heard its actually safe. I just wanted allll the water to go into baby and I'm not lifting as much so I don't need it. Hope this helps.

@Aurélie which creatine brand did you use / is safe as I’ve just gone back to the gym but didn’t know I could take it ?
I’ve used protein powder through both my pregnancies, the only thing I didn’t use was pre workout x
@Katy which brand did you use ? As I’m breast feeding and want to start taking it again ?
@Nessa I use gold standard whey, because it’s cheap & low cal per serving (personal trainer and nutritionist here). It’s cheaper in b&m than sainsburys too x
I use a plant based protein that your body actually can recognise and break down easily unlike whey protein. It is safe for pregnancy and post partumn. I have used it through my previous pregnancy.
@Katy thank you !
@Nessa we've used bulk (it's cheap!) and it's been fine, I have stopped at around 6/7 weeks though as I was so constipated and I know creatine can make you more thirsty and have to drink more water. Also didn't need it as I wasn't exercising as much. I would double check but I think any creatine is technically safe as there has been a lot of research on it.
@Ellie do you mind sharing which brand you use? I can’t stomach any creamy protein at the moment, makes me sick haha, so the clear ones like squash are my only option right now!
@Aurélie thank you I’ll double check before purchasing as I never realised it was okay to take
I use Juice Plus brand, it's the only thing I will take. It isn't squash like though but tastes like berries. If you ever want to try some I would be happy to send you a sample in the post.
My dietician recommended this exact brand and product during pregnancy so I would imagine it's totally fine or else she wouldn't have recommended it
Whey protein is just whey which is milk so can't imagine it being a problem.... I've been having normal Whey throughout mine. Creatine is fine too if it contains any of that!
