Iron infusion

@Char thank you! I was worried that I’d feel rough after having it, I know I need to have it because the tablets etc aren’t working. I hope you see results in a couple of weeks! X

I had two infusions after I had my baby in January. No side effects, only thing was I had some brown/grey staining under my skin where the drip had gone in my hand.

Hi all ,I’m taking iron tablets and my iron is still low, however I feel normal don’t know if il be getting iron infusion.

@Sadia my iron was low but only because it caused me to become anemic and tablets didn’t help, they would give the infusion. But I think it varies from trust to trust. Worth asking your midwives x
