What other medications? You can get prenatal vitamins with folic acid. Folic acid isn't really something you want to avoid taking as it helps prevent neural tube defects.

@Jenny I have folic acid , docusate,oyster shell calcium,iron

I changed my regular prenatal to the gums bc he helps better for I won’t be sick all day

Check what is in your prenatal, it may contain calcium and iron. I don't know why you take oyster shell. The docusate you can try to stop but I'd continue taking it if you have trouble pooping.

If your prenatal doesn't have the recommended amount of calcium you need daily (it can interfere with iron absorption so it may not) and you don't want to take a calcium supplement then you need to ensure you're getting it in your diet elsewhere. What was making you sick, swallowing the pill or the smell? They can be a bit pricey but Pink Stork has excellent prenatals, they even have a DHA pill that doesn't stink.

I take these

Can you show a picture of the ingredients list on the back?

Another issue with gummies is you have to ensure you're taking enough, you typically have to take more than one a day

When I’m taking the medication about 30 minutes later in nausea. Doctor tried to give me medicine for the nausea but makes it worse due to taking the other pills I’m sick all day and can’t eat so I started taking one a day prenatal and feel way better

@Jenny yes sure

Okay so this prenatal has plenty of folic acid, you should not need to take an extra folic acid supplement. However the DHA percentage is pretty low, and there is no iron or calcium so you'd want to continue those.

This one IS a pill but it contains everything; DHA, iron, folic acid, and calcium. They have a gummy option but it doesn't contain the total amount of DHA recommended. But it would reduce how many pills you need to take daily. If you'd like to just keep doing what you're doing and add a DHA pill, this is the one I recommend. A bit pricey, but DHA pills are notoriously stinky which makes it VERY difficult to take them when you're experiencing pregnancy nausea. These were the only ones I found that reliably had no unpleasant smell. As another alternative, here are some drops; no iron in them though LIQUIDHEALTH Prenatal Baby Booster Pregnancy Vitamin Bundle - Vegan Women's Prenatal Multivitamin with SunActive & Ferrochel Iron, Folate, Whole Foods https://a.co/d/dAWQUUW

So I've never heard of that before either. A quick search says that they claim all their drinks are safe during pregnancy and while breastfeeding, but they recommend checking with your doctor. I would probably take a picture of the ingredient list on the back or just take your container in to the doctor and ask them what they think going off that.
