Anyone else no interest in moving baby to their own room? Im just not ready at all!

Im not usually the mum who wont leave their baby- have left her loads since she was tiny (nails etc) and built up to hen weekend etc so Im usually pretty chill. But putting her in her own room is like a mental block for me, its the only thing I just cant do even though she is probably ready! Anyone else? I feel like last man standing and getting pressure from everyone. I dont know what it is 😣 It just kills me thinking of her alone in there

Yep, same here. I won't be moving her anytime soon neither. I just keep imagining her all tiny in that big space on her own and it makes me so sad.

I co-sleep so baby won't be moving to her own room for ages 😅 Her room is currently being occupied by my mother anyways

I only have a 2 bed house and have a nearly 2 year old in the other room, so until my baby sleeps through she will be in our room, as I don't want her to disturb the toddler. Also part of me is super happy to have her near us at night and she sleeps well. My first born was always disturbed by us and that's the only reason she went into her room at 6 months. I honestly just think it's all personal preference. Don't feel rushed, many families share rooms for much longer xxx

We’re in no rush too! Anyone else who’s hounding you about what you literally do in the privacy of your own bedroom and home should back off in my opinion! Even if LO is ‘ready’ it’s not necessary to move them. Not like you have your teenage child sharing a room with you or something! Not doing her any harm. And your peace of mind and instincts are important 🌷

Ours is in our beds most nights so that’s not happening soon. Might try transition from next to me to cot though.

Thank you all for your reassurance 😘
