Tikka masala

I know this is a bit of a stupid question but I’m a first time mum and going for a birthday dinner at an Indian restaurant, can I eat chicken tikka masala? Is the sauce to rich as it’s very red! I just don’t know and it’s the only one I like as can’t handle spice!

You'll be absolutely fine to eat it x

you can eat anything off the menu; as long as the meat is cooked thoroughly, you’ll be fine. Even the hottest curry you’d be fine to eat. Dont restrict your diet; you can literally carry on eating normally as you would if you weren’t pregnant, as long as everything is cooked thoroughly then you’ll be absolutely fine. The only things you have be careful with are unwashed fruits & veg, deli meats (chorizo, salami, Parma ham - normal packaged ham and sandwich fillings are fine), unpasteurised cheeses & liver. Everything else you can continue to eat as normal x

Your fine to eat it just have some gaviscon ready for the heartburn after 😂

if spicy food isn’t your thing then chicken korma would also be a safe option! xxx
