Late ovulation

Been TTC for months and am just now piecing together the fact that I may ovulate a lot later than these period apps tell me. Do any of you experience later than usual ovulation? Was it harder to conceive? I need tips and tricks on when to test because now I feel like I have been testing chronically early…

I think I do too, I have PCOS so it’s not uncommon for my cycle to be longer.

That's been my experience after my previous pregnancy loss. I used to be 30 days like clockwork but that's no longer the case. I've found using this device called kegg to be helpful in recognizing when I'm fertile but while the upfront cost is the only cost associated with it, it is not cheap.

If you're ovulating much later in your cycle you could have a short luteal phase which is a known issue when TTC.

@Charley how do I fix it?

@Cieanna you can get medication to help support your luteal phase, you'd need to speak to your doctor about it
