Gym

Is anyone on here who is a big gym goer/into fitness? I was massively into the gym prior to getting pregnant, I would consistently go 5 sometimes even 6 days a week. Since I’ve been pregnant it’s not been that frequent, but still have been going to the gym throughout my pregnancy whenever I felt well enough to go. So my question is, is it possible to have a baby and still be able to go to the gym let’s say 4/5 days a week? How do people manage that, what do you do with your babies whilst you’re at the gym etc? 28 weeks and just already worrying about losing gains and not being able to go for at least a few weeks after I give birth and then even after that I’m just not sure how it would be possible for me to go and when. Such a silly thing to worry about I know but it’s like the only hobby I have and the only thing that keeps me sane 🥲

Yes me! We run classes where you can take your baby, and a lot of gyms are pretty good about it! I’m a 5 times a week girl. (Monday- Friday) too x

I am 11 weeks PP and trained throughout my whole pregnancy - I’m training 5x a week in the evenings when my partner comes home from work to look after the baby- is that an option for you? Or weekends if his off?x

I often go when my partner is back from work! I also got a yoga mat and some weights so could train at home when my baby sleeps! Also go to a buggy workout at a local park on Wednesday maybe look in your area If there’s anything like that?! I got back into after 5 weeks as was going stir crazy!!

Where I live they have gym classes where you can take baby with you. Might be worth a look round x

I’m thinking I might just have to get up at 5am and go before my partner goes off to work , it’ll be too late to go by the time he is home as he also goes to the gym every evening
