@Kristian Larger the bleeding started light and now it’s more constant. So does this mean I’m not pregnant?
I just left from the hospital having the same thing. Started bleeding today and they said chemical/early miscarriage. Please go get seen if you are able. Depending on your blood type you may need a rhogam shot if you and your partner don’t have the same blood category (+/-). If y’all are opposites then the fetal DNA could attack your bloodstream and it can kill you. I’m not saying this to be insensitive or scare you. I only mean to inform just so you can make sure you are alright. The shots hurt but are worth it to make sure you stay safe.
@Toni thank you !!!
Sadly I think not, it sounds like my chemical pregnancy I had. Best bet would be to get to the Dr, have your HCG checked, and talk to someone
You’re welcome. Please let us know how you are. Best wishes.
@Toni I needed the rhogam with my son but will I need it again if I’m trying to have a second child?
Yes. Typically they give it at 28wks and right after birth. But also if you have a loss you need to get the shot within 72hours from when the bleeding first began. It’s very dangerous if you don’t.
Also you would get it for a threatened loss or if you have a complication like placenta abruption
It sounds like it could have been a chemical pregnancy. How bad was the bleeding, like a normal period?
