Starting working out

I want to start working out especially targeting my thighs for strength and toning. I've never really stuck with working out because I don't see results as fast I do with cardio but it's way too hot to go for walks. How long did it take you to start noticing results when it comes to toning an area? I hate working out but I'm tired of feeling like a blob 😅 also if you have any favorite leg toning exercises for beginners let me know!

I'd say do leg exercises like mountain climbers, squats, lunges and donkey kicks but results could take a few weeks to a couple months to see

@Elizabeth thank you for mentioning it can take a couple months! I get so discouraged when it comes to working out because it always takes so long to see any sort of definition difference. I can lose fat pretty quickly when it comes to cardio but building muscle feels like it takes forever!

Omg I know!!! I just got back into working out and trying to remind myself it takes time. Getting the motions down seem like the first step, then increasing reps/weights once you feel like it's getting to the point where you can do more reps.

@Elizabeth I'm so impatient when it comes to working out it's so hard to stick to! I'm going to aim for 20 days not counting days off and hopefully I can stick to it and continue after!

It takes about 30 to create a habit, but I feel this so much! Feel free to send me a message if you need help to stay accountable with your work outs!
