To do or not to do

There's an upcoming workout class being offered twice a week where I can bring my 3-month old. I REALLY want to make it because I want to start working out again but I'm concerned I'll be affecting my little one's nap and/or feed. And then I worry she might fuss in the middle of the workout. Another concern of mine is the cost. It's $360 for the 6 week program. I have the money but I feel like I should be saving. I don't know if I'm just making up excuses to not attend despite my want, or these are genuine concerns. I don't know. Help a venting mama out with advice!? Please and thank you!

Is it a class that will have moms bringing their kids? If it is, I definitely wouldn't stress about any fussing as all the others will either understand or have one fussing as well. At that age, most will nap anywhere if they're tired. If the cost doesn't eat into other things you need, I wouldn't worry about that either (I know, easier said than done, im the person that won't spend $5 on myself, but will not think twice about buying random things for my kids). Remember to take care of yourself too. If it's something you want to do and will make you feel good, I say go for it!

Sounds like the price is worth it and they are prepared to handle fussy kids so I wouldn't stress about that. Maybe to put your mind at ease, ask if you can have a trial class or what their refund policy is if it doesn't work out and you can't do the 6 weeks

Feed before workout or be prepared to prop up s bottle. If she gets fussy during certain workouts you can hold her. I used to meet up with moms and workout with our kids. Bring your baby wearing just in case

Do it. It's great to do things for yourself and baby's are ok if their schedule gets unbalanced. They survive, and adapt. As far as the cost versus saving --- i picked up extra work to afford putting my kids in classes to get experiences and have more it if life and find what they like. Saving is great, but being able to splurge on things that can enhance your happiness or your enjoyment of life is worth it.

Thank you all so much for replying and providing your advice and feedback. ❤️ For further context, it's a new class at a Crossfit location called "Barbells and Babies". It's going to be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11AM for 6 weeks. I feel like I need something like this that I paid for to keep me accountable because I do want to start working out again and I don't know where to start nor have the energy to do so. Part of me is questioning if I should be jumping into something like this so soon too. You're all right about spending the money on something that will enhance my happiness. Ever since being pregnant and with the birth of my little one, I barely spend on anything other than bills and her. My husband will spend left and right no problem though. We both contribute too. 😅 I am also considering buying $500 concert tickets soon. 😭
