Exercise during stims and TWW

Hi I am normally super active - running, barre, weights. Any advise on what I should/shouldn’t do during stims & TWW? Struggling with no exercise :(

You can exercise, you just need to take it easy. The drugs are stimulating your ovaries to make lots of eggs, which can make you feel bloated and swollen and increase the risk of ovarian torsion. For that reason you just need to avoid things like twisting, inversions, jumping and lifting heavy weights. Obviously, if you’re normally a bit of a couch potato, now is not the time to start training for a 10K. But if you’re generally fit and active, you should be able to continue doing most of what you were doing before. If anything, it’s more important than ever to stay active because you need it for your mental health. https://flo.health/getting-pregnant/trouble-conceiving/fertility-treatments/exercises-during-ivf

You can do things like swimming, Pilates, yoga, light jogging (no more than 15k per week), long walks x

Thank you!! So sounds like Yoga, swimming, walking only? Quite confusing as yoga tends to be twisty!

I think just listen to your body and do what you feel comfortable with xx

@Abbie-Louise I thought the same thing and I avoided yoga or at least inverted positions! Even downdog is not great during stims. I ended up just walking on the treadmill and using light weights for the first few days of stims.

@Abbie-Louise Light yoga is fine. Just don’t be practicing your Astavakrasana during this time. You know your body and what it’s used to, so just dial it back a bit for a few weeks.

I was told no exercise expect walking. I asked specifically about yoga and yoga and both no nos x
