No ‘ Village ‘

Hi guys hope all is well! Just wanted some tips for a first time mom who has no family or friends nearby!! I’m going crazy and feeling so sad these days. My partners family is toxic and couldn’t give two shits about us and I don’t even want their help.. and my family live in another country. It’s just SOOO hard cause my partner works full time and we only have one vehicle so even to go to appointments is a challenge😭😭😭😭😭 it really does take a village!

i don’t have advice but i do live 2000 miles from both mine and my husbands family and friends so i get it. can always message me so you have someone who understands :)

What area do you live in?

Definitely isn't easy, husband's military so we are currently other side of the country from both our families. We haven't really been out here long enough for me to have made any friends. What area are you in?

What part in california do you live in ?

@Bria San Joaquin county

@Olivia San Joaquin county

@Asia San Joaquin county

@Emily thank you 🤍

If you’re near tracy you aren’t too far away from me! Feel free to message me :)

I feel you, we are in the same situation. My family and friends are in the PH and my only family here and friend is my husband and now our son. At first everything really gets to me like i cry everyday without my husband seeing because he works 6 days a week for 12 hours every day, so i only have my son beside me. But i practice not giving a shit about his family (cos they're very toxic too!!) and of course i tell my husband how i feel to lessen the negativy inside me, i started reading books again and doing things i enjoy like cooking, watching k-dramas and focusing on my son because he needs me and i don't want to focus more on the stressors, i always remind my self that i'd rather give my energy to my son than the things i cannot control like my sister in-law being a "i know it all". Tell your husband how you feel so you'll feel at ease even just a little, do things you enjoy especially with you little one. DM me if you want someone to talk to. I'm free always. Sending you my hugs.

I totally get not having a village even though grandparents and Aunts live 20 minutes away while my parents live 2 hours away.🙄 So I understand. If you need to talk you can always message me☺️🩵

I'm in the same position except I have an vehicle.

@Incognito if you were closer I would help for sure!!

No advice but I am in a similar situation.. my and my fiancé’s family and all of my friends live in Europe.. It’s definitely harder than I imagined, so I feel you! I live near San Diego
