Feeling alone

My wee girl is 10 months and I feel like everyday we spend time just the 2 of us don't get me wrong I absolutely love spending time with her but I just thought by now I'd have found some mum friends I went to all the baby classes and tried but still found I didn't seem to be getting anywhere. All my friends from before I have had her have all disappeared now so it's just me and her dad who works long hours I'm really struggling now having no one to talk to when stuff gets hard

Hey, I completely understand where you are coming from. I was going through the same thing and it can feel ever so lonely. I managed to find a baby group that I attend every week and there are regulars there that I get to talk to now. I know its not the same thing as physically having a friend but maybe a pen friend on the peanut app???? There's a local group I found on the app as well where I have met other mums. See if there's a local group for you too? You can always message me if you feel comfortable too :) I hope it gets easier.

I hear you, it can get really lonely at times. I've found a big majority of mums at the groups are really judgy but I keep reminding myself that it's just a phase and you'll find your people eventually. Your little girl will absolutely love being able to spend that much time with you too x

I'm the in same boat. I talk to my daughter, who's 10 months now, and I end up having a full-blown talk or conversation with her because I literally don't have a social life as much as I use to but I know when on time when she's actively going to school and make friends I will eventually discover and make friends with the kids parents and that tends to happen
