Anyone else pregnant after loss?

Congratulations to everyone here ❤️ I’m 4 weeks today (found out at 7dpo!) and struggling a bit with anxiety after a missed miscarriage last time I was pregnant. Is anyone else going through a similar thing (pregnancy after loss), or has any words of advice? X

I’m feeling the same way about this pregnancy it hard but eventually everything does get a little better

I’m in exactly the same boat, we had a missed miscarriage back in April and I’m now currently 6 weeks pregnant. I can’t relax and keep thinking somethings wrong. I panic when my symptoms come and go, I’m praying for my 12 week scan hoping everything is okay xx

So hard isn’t it think the worst thing is when you have a day without many symptoms, I instantly start worrying, probably one of the few people that appreciates nausea as at least it’s a sign! X

Same here bad miscarriages last nov x

I’m currently 21 weeks pregnant after a missed miscarriage last August. Just listen to your body but try not to compare yourself to others. What may be a symptom for someone may not be for you and vice versa but that doesn’t mean anything is wrong. You’ve got this x

Yes I’m in the exact same boat. We’ve just found out today we are pregnant again but after a miscarriage at 9 weeks in March I’m absolutely terrified it’s going to be the same! I should be absolutely ecstatic right now but instead im absolutely terrified!

@Carla congratulations it always helps to hear positive stories, wishing you all the best ❤️

It really is scary but we have to think positive x

@Katie so scary and 9 weeks must have been heartbreaking to get that far 😢 keeping everything crossed for you, something I keep telling myself is that statistically you’re no more likely to have a second miscarriage after having one. Of course it’s so hard not to worry when you’ve been that 1/4 statistic once before xx

I’m 5 weeks 4 days after MMC at 9 weeks in March and I’m absolutely convinced this one is going the same way. We have an early scan on Wednesday but if it’s not a blighted ovum or something similar I’ll be highly surprised. My gut feeling is beyond pessimistic and I’ve not felt sick at all which was my tell last time. It’s heartbreaking 💔

@Madeleine you never know! Every pregnancy has different symptoms and if it’s different to last time, even in lack of symptoms, maybe it’s a good sign? Sometimes nausea doesn’t kick in until after 6 weeks. Keeping everything crossed for you, let us know how it goes ❤️

I think it’s totally normal to be anxious when pregnant after loss. I’m now 32 weeks and I’m still not as relaxed as I was in my first pregnancy. We lost a baby at 12 weeks in September. I love Zoe Clark-Coates book ‘Pregnancy after loss’. It has great info and daily grief/ anxiety processing exercises. Found it so helpful and am still working through it…

I miscarried in April and am now pregnant too! Anxiety is really high and every symptom, niggle, pain or ache I’m googling and this is my 3rd pregnancy. I think the fear will always be high after a loss. I’m just trying to remain positive and will be booking an early private scan if the nhs don’t offer one xx
