5weeks pregnant symptoms
Hi Everyone,
I'm 30 years old and pregnant with my first child (5weeks). I have been having cramps all over my stomach which is like mild period pains..I have also noted a more constant cramp to the right hand side of my lower abdomen (mild). I am concerned as I went to the toilet tonight and when I wiped I noted a small amount of brown coloured discharge.
I am concerned because I had already experience some light bleeding (pink) about 2 weeks ago which I assumed was implantation occurring.
I am extremely worried that it could be signs of a complication and just wanted to check if anyone else has experienced anything similar?

I cramped throughout my first trimester too. And had no implantation bleeding until 5 weeks for myself. Too me that sounds normal. But monitor the bleeding. If it gets heavier or if the cramping gets worse then consider seeking help from your doctor.
I have experienced very similar. It’s typically very normal but if you’re concerned it doesn’t hurt to get checked. You’re still very early on and spotting and mild cramps are common and usually nothing to worry about

If you’re concerned about anything talk to your GP. Some cramping in early pregnancy is normal but it’s always worth checking out if it’s on one side to rule out an ectopic pregnancy
