What is everyone doing to keep themselves occupied whilst waiting for little ones to arrive?

I'm at that stage where I just want her here but also so bored (38+6) I've got lots I could and should be doing but I'm so knackered and hurt everywhere. I'm too tired to read and hurt too much to go for walks or drive anywhere (thank PGP and painful feet for that). I know I should probably just be resting but there's only so much crap TV I can take. Going a little stir crazy. Anyone feel the same or suggestions for things I haven't thought of?

I'm just washing babies clothes, getting the nursery ready, pregnancy massage booked and hair booked. Trip to home bargains seeing friends who work part time. Seeing my niece x how about paint your nails,?

39+5 and I'm just playing Disney Dreamlight Valley to keep me occupied 🤣🙈 that and I'm interested to know how much of the current event I can crack out before my little man finally decides to make his appearance. I started the event day before yesterday and currently 27 out of 80 tasks completed haha

I was only given 2 days notice of my impending C-section, luckily work let me take them off, so I am buying last minute bits and trying to relax playing video games.

@Siobhan you'll probably find yourself playing it while breastfeeding haha

My time is literally being taken up by hospital appointments 😂 had 3 last week, got 4 this week 🤦‍♀️but I'm between the appointments I'm basically sleeping all the time 😂😂😂

@Emmo haha that's the plan 😂 got the perfect feeding pillow for holding him (I play on the switch, but can also use Xbox if needed) and already have the extension cable in the perfect spot so I can sit on the sofa breast feeding my little boy while playing my switch and having it on charge lol 🤣

@Siobhan the game I'm currently playing is PC, I'll need to find something for the switch!

This is SO relatable

I'm feeling the same 38 weeks just want to meet her already I'm bored but at same time can't be bothered to do much as bad pelvic pain period like cramps braxton hicks and round ligament pain

I’m in the same boat! I feel like I should be nesting and making the most of this last time before baby arrives but I just can’t be bothered to do anything. I’m just trying to do little bits here and there as well as some nice things for myself.

Pikmin 3 and 4 is quite fun for switch! 😂

39.3 weeks here in for my csection tomorrow and have barlu slept this few nights...slept fine up until now...adrenaline kicking in now I suppose I'm nervous

@Naomi I'm the same, slept 3 hrs last night

I've finished my final year uni work and i finally get to relax and wait for baby so i'm taking it all in and just laying down and chilling all day. Maybe small walk in evening but mostly just relaxing while I still can 😂🫶

Me2 @emmo are u for birthing soon? I didn't get asleep till 5am last nite woke at 9.30am went finished the last of shopping before tomorrow it's almost dinner time here and I'm still wide awake not tired no naps needed ...and all iv done is nap twice a day since being pregnant...its amazing and annoying how our body's work throwout pregnacy x

I feel the exact same! I’m having my lashes done Friday as a treat before she’s here next week via C section but it’s the longest week of my life I’m so impatient now 🙈 so hard to do things now without being exhausted! The stairs are enough to make me need a 2 hour nap🙈 xx

Take advantage of the time you have to yourself because when baby’s here you’ll have none. Do stuff that you like!
