What was in the wrap lots of fats and proteins should help. Also a 10 min walk/ waddle around the block after eating was enough to stop me spiking. That way I could have very small amounts of carbs but everyone is different

I can't eat whole wheat either. Doesn't matter how much protien or veg or walking I pair it with my body just can't handle it. I have to do low carb wraps and breads.

Had a bacon sandwich on wholemeal bread over the weekend and got a spike too, I feel your pain 😭 I just need to accept that I can't eat bread.. Only 11 more weeks 😵

I couldn't eat any carbs with all 3 of mine as I would always spike! No matter what I paired with it or if I went for a walk!

I don’t want to presume that you aren’t doing this, however, if you are having a whole meal wrap you need to also apply the same rules as if you were having a meal, fats, protein and veg/salad. So if I had a cheese and ham wrap I would spike, but if I had chicken and avocado salad wrap or tuna melt wrap with a side salad I wouldn’t spike, because I’ve balanced out the carbs? If I had a bacon sw on wholemeal with no fats and salad (or add to the protein with an egg) I would spike too, the bread is the main part of that meal then, I found it so hard at the beginning but now I’ve got my head round it, it’s much better and I find I’m fuller! Because I’m eating better! Hope that helps xx
