Morrisons salad/pasta bar

So I know you can’t eat cold deli meats. The pasta I like from Morrisons is the spicy meat feast tomato pasta and it has meatballs, mini pepperonis and another strip of meat. The girl behind the counter laughed at me when I asked if the pepperoni was cooked and she said well obviously because it’s safe to eat but in normal circumstances you can eat uncooked pepperoni if you want 🙄 anyway, does anyone here know if the meat in this pasta is safe to eat ?

I thought (not expert) any cured meats - pepperoni, salami etc was not advised unless cooked. Wouldn’t think they cook it for cold pasta will just be chopped off.

I’m not sure if you’re pregnant or not? Can I just say that girl behind the counter sounds fecking cheeky! I’m so sorry you had to experience that!!

The NHS says it's safe to eat any cured meat like pepperoni, Parma ham and salami. If I'm honest I didn't even know it was a thing to avoid 🙈

@Robyn Olivia sorry I forgot to say I’m pregnant, yeah it was a very uncomfortable interaction 😢 you could see her and the girl she was working with thought I was either crazy or stupid because the young girl she was with didn’t even attempt to hide the look she gave her with these huge eyes like “omg what an idiot”

That’s so rude!! The bitches!! I’m sorry you had to go through it!! Honestly you should go and put a complaint in. They must’ve been teens as they completely don’t understand what pregnancy is like!! How far along are you?? I’m 15 and 4 days and honestly it’s hard!!
