We buy 5 dinners at a time plus lunches & snacks and we shop at Lidl so it’s usually around £45 per shop. This week for example we have chicken and bacon pasta salad, fish with baby potatoes & veg, Thai green curry, salmon & coconut rice, and spicy chicken & halloumi tacos x

We spend a lot of money in food! We spend around £200 a week. We cook the majority of the meals at home from scratch, and that usually includes soup, main dish always with veggies. We also buy lots of fresh fruits, yogurts, eggs, cheese, ham, weetabix, oats and bread. We also include in our weekly shop nappies, wipes, cleaning products, toilette paper and sometimes cat food.

Similar as Ana..around £170 -£200..includes everything like nappies and wipes plus a lot of fresh food. We cook from the scratch most meals.

We spend around £40-50. We cook things like pastas, couscous dishes, curries, salads, things like sausage and mash, burriotos etc. Quite varied. We're vegetarian which helps bring costs down too. We use cloth nappies and wipes so don't have to spend on them!

Around £60 a week. Myself and 3 kids. I cook meals like pasta. Curries. Caribbean food. Always buying fresh fruit and veg but I tend to bulk buy meat at the end of the month

We are about £150-£200 a week with 2 children in nappies. Would love tips on how to bring it down. It’s the berries and kids snacks that add up for me! I try to cook from scratch where possible but working and 2 toddlers it’s not always possible. I try to make extra for lunches the next day too where it’s suitable. We have a pasta dish once a week, could be tuna pasta, sausage, carbonara, tomato, chicken and veg. Chicken wraps Meat, chips and veg or salad. Chicken in a sauce with rice and veg. Usually have a beige dinner once a week of fish fingers and veg or chicken nuggets

We are about £75/week on average, mainly cooking from scratch (we don't buy prepared meals ect.) Lots of pinch of not recipies and a batch cook for work lunches. Limited snacks/treats. For 2 adults and 2.5 year old. He generally has a portion of what we ate the night before.

@Rachel I bulk buy a lot of my things and when cooking meals I cook enough for 2 days. Not every week goes to plan but having 3 kids (2 are toddlers) I try as much as I can then yeah weekly fruit and snacks. In all fairness the prices are nothing like what they used to be

About £80-90 a week for 2 adults and a toddler. We mostly cook from scratch but with the odd sort of pre-prepared meat type meal once a week (ie something like chicken en croute or fish cakes which we would have with potatoes and veg). We had Hello Fresh a few years ago and kept the recipe cards, we typically recreate some of those as well as just other meals we’re fond of such as carbonara or fajitas. We cut down on meat a little while ago so also have quite a few veggie days. We could definitely bring the costs down if we tried hard enough, but we are big fans of fruit in this house so go all out on a range of different fruits which does really add to the costs. We also have our little luxuries we choose to keep in place (decent coffee for me, ciders for my partner 😂) Little one no longer in nappies but when he was we used cloth, so didn’t have to add nappies (or wipes) to the weekly shop.

£40 -£50 a week including nappies, and cleaning stuff. I cook from fresh i don't use jar sauces, I find making a meal plan for the weel really helps with keeping costs down, i also use cash back apps

We spend around £115 per week depending on what we need for cleaning/nappies etc. We buy tonnes of fruit for the little one (because toddlers inhale berries) and cook all meals from scratch. For dinner's we do things like spag bol, curry, prawn linguini, cottage pie, bangers and mash, sunday roast, home made burgers & chips, stew, halloumi skewers with pitta and tzatziki, oven baked chicken & veg, home made chicken strips, fajitas etc We always make more so we can use left overs for pack up for work or lunches at home. X

We spend £60-100 on average, depending on how much meat we have. We also cook 95% of things from scratch, don’t buy brands or jar sauces, shop in Lidl, food plan and have lowered our meat consumption significantly. We do buy a lot of juice/squash/pop and cleaning products/nappies/wipes. Wish we could bring it down a little more but baby 2 is due now so will go up again with formula and another set of nappies!

£100ish a week from Tesco for 2 adults and a toddler. And that’s not including cleaning stuff as I go to home bargains for that! And it’s for breakfast lunch and dinner for all 3 of us. We have curries, spag bol, homemade pizzas etc x

£120 a week generally. Our meals are always fresh meat based. We buy a lot of fresh fruit and veg, dog treats/food, as well as things to make work lunch for my husband and I. Food is one thing we never compromise on although we don't just buy branded things. We always notice how lethargic we feel if we've eaten rubbish.
