No tribe. All alone.

No one told you how lonely pregnancy is. My mother is an hour away, mil is also an hour away, no friends because I had to let them go once I got pregnant, I’m all by myself. I have no idea what I’m doing and My husband is doing his best but I feel so alone.

One was really toxic and the other one was getting really agressive and I found out she had begun to hit her boyfriend.

Come and talk to us here! I totally understand. My mom is an hour away but I'm trying to make connections with other family members or neighbours. You are not alone!

Pregnancy is lonely for sure. Dealing with postpartum is hard. My circle has always been small. In my opinion, an hour away isn’t so bad. My MIL is 2 hours away & I lost my mom when I was 6 weeks pregnant and than my dad a year later. That’s a different kind of lonely. Because I don’t have the option of seeing them at all. I joined mommy groups. Stroller walks. Mommy and baby swimming and yoga. I met so many moms. I keep myself outdoors and on walks. Without fail, I meet a mom. It’s just my fiancé & I. We never had a village. I’ve learned to accept it.
