Is anyone working out? (Lightly)

If so, what does your routine look like? Trying to get in the gym again. Been doing just light cardio mostly, but curious about other workouts. 💪🏼

Yes, i do 30 mins of walking every day. I try to focus on stuff that will help my pelvic floor

I do 30 mins walking in threadmill 😅

My first OB told me not to work out but second OB told me I should do what I feel works for me. I been doing u door cycling, weight lifting but no more than 10 lb in each hand, yoga and lots of stretching. I do some pelvic floor exercises as well. Always aiming for 5 times a week for 20-45 min

Ive been getting back into swimming and loving it.

@Sheerah yes!! I just swam today. It was amazing

Been working out the entire time and even higher intensity sometimes than before pregnancy- almost every day. Weight lifting/ aerial silks/ Pilates, intensely active job ( photographer , so I’m lm lifting heavy lights, carrying a bag over 60-70 lbs and squatting for shots all day long) .. I also do elliptical.. haven’t had to stop much just modify for round ligament. One of the programs I love is move your bump, it’s challenging but focuses on aspects of pregnancy.. was made for people who were more athletic before

@Olga if you lifted before you are fine to continue… I’m still snatching 25 lbs and pulling 100 lbs on the lat pulldown machine, along with lifting my body weight to ceiling and flipping upside down in aerial at 17 weeks….you have to think about it.. you are going into the biggest athletic endeavor of your life.. why would you not train for that? What insane dr is telling you to not work out???
