Race for life after transfer

I have an embryo transfer today (very excited!), and have planned to do race for life on Sunday. Do you think I’ll be ok to just walk it? It’s only the 5k race. I know I can’t run or do anything to strenuous.

I think walking is fine. My doctor said I could return to normal activity 24 hours after transfer.

I think you should be fine walking, I was looking after toddlers following my second transfer and it was successful. But the thing to think about through all of this is if it's unsuccessful which things will you regret doing. Not saying you should at all, but I know if mine had been unsuccessful I'd probably go through and think about what I did wrong

Walking should be ok, just take it easy

Thanks ladies. @Rachel that’s exactly what the nurse said to me yesterday. She was very much like ‘the embryo will do what it wants to do regardless, but how are you going to feel looking back if it doesn’t go to plan’ So I may just go along and support my family instead x

Yes I agree with @Rachel I just had a failed transfer! I would not do it if I were in your shoes
