@Holly thank you so much! You’ve put my mind at ease. I know everybody’s different and they have to tell you the risks but it makes you overthink it. Hopefully I’ll be the same and it’ll be smooth sailing🤞🏼 how long did you bleed for if you don’t mind me asking x
This was 16 years ago now so the procedure maybe different, but I bled for a good 6 weeks post surgical termination. I didn't travel after though so can't answer that question. I was told before I had surgical management of mmc last year that they no longer remove all of the lining and I believe it's the same procedure. I only bled for 1 week and 5 days with that but I was in alot more pain a few days after it.
I get it I definitely worried a lot beforehand! I think it lasted around 10-12 days for me, it did ease off after about 4 days and then was just quite light for a while x
Depends on the person. I had complications and bled for almost 8 weeks.
Yes I have, well I was 2.5 weeks after really so I had to take the test with me to do over there. My bleeding had stopped by the time I went away and I had started my contraceptive pill too. I honestly felt absolutely fine, it had zero impact on travelling or my holiday x
