Copper iuds

So I have had two iuds in the past year and they both fell out now the first time they told me that's very unusual that never happens I was very iffy about getting a second one but they said that it was so rare that I should be fine so I did it and then it fell out very painfully that time and I bled very heavily they told me I didn't need to come back in because it came out all the way and in between the two I had a miscarriage now my period is off and on and I keep thinking I'm pregnant but then end up having spotting and eventually bleed heavily again I'm just concerned that I could be having early miscarriages or that something is messed up from those two iuds falling out because I just feel different with these periods it's not how it normally is and they're heavier and some are more painful than normal so I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else or if anyone has any advice I think I'm going to call an OB I just moved to a new state so I think I'm going to call and make an appointment to have everything double checked but I'm just curious if anyone else has had this kind of thing happen and if you read all of this thank you I'm sorry it's a lot I'm just stressed I'm concerned because I do have two kids and I have had two confirmed miscarriages and I'd really like to have more kids but I'm scared that I can't now

Do what is best for you! If you feel the need to be checked out do so, if your OB pushes you off and you don’t feel they care or are listening change doctors. I had the copper IUD beginning of 2023, it ended up coming out of place. So I got it replaced, no signs, no symptoms. 6 months later still with the IUD in I end up pregnant. Turns out my IUD was not in place and I ended up pregnant with the IUD. So it is very possible to be having a miscarriage or be pregnant. I would definitely be seen to make sure you’re okay and nothing is going on.

@Quilina I just got off the phone with a new OB and they said my old one should've seen me immediately after the second one fell out and they got me in for Wednesday because she said they need to make sure it didn't cause any issues. Ive been concerned from the beginning but this past week I've been having body aches, a fever, migraines, nausea, and now some light spotting but no real period and pregnancy test was negative so idk what's going on with me

@Laney I’m glad the new OB is seeing you and being serious! I’m no doctor so I can’t say anything but you never know if it could have tore something or punctured something so it’s good to be seen. I hope all is well and you feel much better soon. ♥️
