Exercise affecting supply?

Does exercise hurt anyone else’s supply? I had a workout for the first time in years two days ago and my supply has been iffy since. I think it’s my body recovering from the workout but it could be other factors. Happen to anyone else?

You have to eat more calories and more water than you already are eating more just to nurse

@Priscilla I’ve upped my water even more than I had been and I’m eating whenever I’m hungry. I just hope it balances itself out when I’m past the “sore stage”

@Mary give me an example of a days food please I'll give you mine and I do workout Breakfast 3 eggs 2 sausages Snack Oatmeal almond milk Lunch Sandwich romaine Lettuce tomatoes cheese meat mayo banana peppers Snack tuna and crackers Dinner Baked chicken breast Sweet potatoes String beans Snack Peanut butter crackers

@Priscilla today was oatmeal for breakfast Yogurt and Oreos for a snack Broccoli cheddar pasta for lunch with peaches And dinner is high protein pancakes And a gallon of water so far Granted, today wasn’t a huge cooking day because I need groceries

Ok yea add more protein even a shake with like chicken or fish

Hard boiled eggs slim Jim etc

@Priscilla yeah, usually I have more chicken and protein. Like dinner last night was buffalo chicken egg rolls- chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce and a bean, onion, and tomato medley on the side

@Mary that sounds really good

@Priscilla I definitely recommend it. Super filling

I've heard that breastfeeding is the calorie equivalent of walking 7 miles in a day

@Elli oh wow. That makes it a little easier to map out my calories
