How long for a negative test after mc

Hello Absolutely gutted that I’ve had another miscarriage, will be my 3rd one at 5 weeks Was spotting for 2 weeks then Bleeding started heavy with clots on Thursday , still bleeding now. I have an appointment at EPU on Friday. When shall I get negative pregnancy test ? With my first miscarriage, the line went light the day I started bleeding? I just want the bleeding to stop already .

Yes - you can ask nhs gp to refer you to tommys recurrent miscarriage clinic. You can talk to tommys team / Tommy's midwives for advice anyway but yes your nhs dr / gp can refer you there

I think with eptopic - the hcg can go up and down - might be good to talk to 111 too - they may offer hcg testing today / tomo at hosp

Have you spoken to someone recently re miscarriage? Do ring 111 if you need - when we had our miscarriage - they called us to a n e and wanted to test hcg etc
