Is this anyone first pregnancy after a misscarriage? I am so nervous but so excited to be a mum

✋️ first pregnancy after a miscarriage. First baby. The anxiety is alot. Worrying about every cramp, checking for blood after wiping every time.

This will be our second baby but our first baby is a rainbow baby. I don’t think the anxiety and nerves ever go away. I know with my first baby they eased a bit after we got out of the first trimester however they definitely didn’t disappear xx

Yep me too. So much so I’m too scared to join this group yet for fear of having to exit soon. I’m gonna wait a bit and just watch from the shadows

Yes same but we just have to honestly look at all the good things like we are able to fall pregnant and past 4-5 weeks so hopefully keep getting good news and I pray a lot

Yes agreed. Trying to be positive but the anxiety is strong. Hoping I can slowly and surely overcome it. And right now it’s good news so enjoy it!!!

I’m in a similar boat….i have a 22mth old son, miscarried about 9 weeks ago and I’m pregnant again now and 6 weeks along. The anxiety is eating me alive. I’ve got my first scan next Thursday and finding out we had had a missed miscarriage at our first scan last time just keeps playing over and over in my head. Everything seemed fine last time so it came as a real shock and I’m so scared of it happening again….

Hello! Doing well so far *touch wood*. I’ve been getting weekly scans with my OB because of my previous miscarriage. I have another one tomorrow. I’m 9 weeks and 3 days so the next hurdle is the NIPT test. Have you had a scan before the 8 week one? I’ve got everything crossed for you this week that all is well 🤞🏻 let us know how you get on, I’ll be thinking of you!

@Fenella yes I had one at 6 weeks and in the same boat I’m getting a scan every 2-3 weeks. Thank you so much. I’m praying that all goes well and can see little baby at 8 week scan this week
