How did you teach him? Did he just figure it out eventually?
Mine has been weeks with the straw and she doesn't get it yet, she just bites it
@Cheyenne kinda a mix of the two. i’d squeeze it a little bit, so the water would go up into his mouth. then today, he started sucking it up himself.
That’s how I did it. Got a cheap cup that I could squeeze and after a few days squeezing it he figured out he could suck it out himself. Then invested in a sturdier cup that doesn’t leak and doesn’t let him drink too much at once. Also came here to say I have the same dress 😄
Yay good job my son is almost two he refuses to suck on a straw
