They say if you were a gym goer before you can continue. Just stay hydrated and and over do it, the stamina you had pre pregnancy may be different now ✨🫶🏾

I just took extra rest & water when needed, avoided exercises that aren’t suitable in pregnancy by swapping to alternatives and have started reducing weights gradually too the further on I’ve got!

I wish I had this problem but my god, any exercise outside of walking is just a big fat NO! I’m 7 weeks and struggling to keep food down let alone think about the gym 😭 swimming is about the only thing I can do and even that takes all my energy for the whole day haha!

Stick to it but listen to your body and be cognizant that your balance might shift/change, making you more injury prone as your ligaments loosen. I felt pretty great exercising until about midway through second trimester when I switched to more low-impact exercise. Also ab/core work will get increasingly uncomfortable

Be so proud if you can stick to it! I was sooo sick and didn’t 🙃 all you Mommas are tough you got this!!

Continue as you were just don’t lift to lift heavy now. Lift to maintain

I kept my routine the same for both my pregnancies right up til I delivered

I kept the same routine except I chose slower Zumba songs and not the fast paced ones I was used to. Kept up weights and Pilates all throughout. Just listen to your body.

Listen to body and drink plenty of water. I had to stop running for 6 weeks because I would bleed (baby was totally fine but the doctor was tired of me coming to office several times a week to get checked out🤣) I kept my heavy lifting routine till month 7 when I had complications requiring me to stop.

I have Brianna battles free guide to exercise mods during pregnancy if you want me to email it to you. Let me know x If you go to the gym and work out heaps pre pregnancy you’re good to continue 1st tri. Mods come later for most people I had to reduce weights 1st tri due to fatigue. Keep up your hydration and take note of how everything is feeling. I had to stop for a few weeks but it’s 13w and I’m back to it. I’m kind of cheating - I work at a gym so have no excuse haha. But I haven’t been for a long run in a good few months. Have done cardio recently getting up to my usual zones and I’m fine. Your HR may spike a little easier, I found mine has.

Always check with your specialist/doctor too xxxx

I’m 37 weeks and have worked out the entire time since I worked out before. I listened to my body throughout and took breaks or more days off when needed. I’m still going and it really helps me mentally!

Thank you ladies 😍🤣 I will continue going until I can 👌🏼 and when I start feeling tired etc I will just start doing swimming 🥳

I just stopped using the hip machines as I was warned off them by a PT. Keep the cardio up xx

Depends what classes, something like body combat you need to stop, there are a lot of twists and can cause issues for the baby. Things like weight training is cool, yoga, etc. just see how you feel. If you can tell your instructor they can help advise

As long as you stay hydrated and not over do it shouos be fine to stick to your normal routine for now. Just pay attention to your body and stop if you feel too tired or too hot
