How are people coping without any family support around the corner?

Some days I feel find others when I feel ill etc I just wish there was someone near who could have baby for a few hours so I can rest. Anyone else feel so lonely at times with no support?

I know how you feel! Just me and my partner 🙈 our partners live in Spain sp no babysitters there

It's very hard and I have 2. But we are stronger than we think and we always manage (just) x

I'm really feeling this today, as I'm ill with a horrible cold 🤧 and my baby is really fussy for no apparent reason. I'd give anything for my mum to be round the corner to come and take her for a walk to give me a break, but she's 450 miles away 😩

I'm fine for now as I'm enjoying spending time with LO but when it comes to going back to work I know I'm going to struggle 😔 the financial strain is going to be hard having him in nursery everyday and no help from parents on either side as they all 2 hrs away in 2 different directions. Luckily I haven't been ill yet but I've had days where I wish there someone closer just for an hour's rest

🙋🏻‍♀️ single mumma over here and no family in London at all. This week I haven’t felt very well and wished I had some support closer but just powered through and looked forward to bedtime everyday! 🩵

I am going through the same situation handling the baby all by myself for the last 4months.Also dealing with postpartum anxiety at the same time.

Solo mum here with no family support, it does worry me if I got proper ill. As have two large dogs also. But just power through and hope for the best 😬🤞🏻🙏
