Cooking?

My daughter has been sitting in the middle of the kitchen watching me and my mom since she was in a high chair. She just recently turned 7 and has been grabbing stuff out the fridge and throwing things together 😂 it’s pretty cool! I’ve seen kids start cooking much earlier but I’m not sure how much of it was the kid vs the parent’s choice.

I started having my LO help me in the kitchen at around 5. Things like mixing, pushing buttons, simple tasks. She just turned 8yr and I’ve started letting her cook full meals. Easy ones like spaghetti, chili, ect. We used to get a subscription box called Raddish and loved it, though it was a gift subscription and I have 4 kids total so continuing was out of my budget.

I was just thinking about this post again yesterday because my daughter has been SUPER involved in the past few weeks. Anytime I go in the kitchen now she wants to help and learn about all the steps
