Subchorionic Hematoma Bleed

Hi, I had a subchorionic hematoma bleed 12 days ago. It was pretty traumatic and very heavy. It stopped the next day. 12 days later, and I've started to bleed bright red again! Has anyone heard of a subchorionic hematoma reappearing? Or could this possibly be a miscarriage? Waiting on the EPU to call me tomorrow but seems like I have a night full of worry and googling ahead! ☹️

I've had 2 in my current pregnant one at 9 weeks and one at 11 weeks and now 26 weeks pregnant xxx

@Kayleigh thanks for replying. Was yours also bright red blood? It's so frightening!

I had this the day after my 12 week scan. They pressed so hard it dislodged it and I bled loads. I honestly thought I was having a miscarriage. I would go get a reassurance scan my lovely and see what they say. If it makes you feel any better I’m now 37+5 🫶🏻 fingers crossed that everything is fine. I’m pretty sure they can refill, but better to go get checked xxx

@Betty ahh Betty that sounds like a nightmare! So happy it turned out well for you. Congratulations on your pregnancy, not long now! 🩷

It wasn't it was a pink colour but I went for scans and got told that's what happened xx

I’ve had 3 pregnancy and twice had this happen , mine was bright red with clots too worse than a period with both.. I couldn’t stand up without it gushing out.. I bleed on and off for weeks wiry them both both baby’s were fine but it is scary ,, I was offered weekly scans ,, mine were ivf pregnancy’s and I was told it’s more common in them xx

It was on and off for me until I was 14 weeks with my youngest. It can come and go and it usually takes a few weeks at least to resolve.
