Not if you’ve eaten there before and have never gotten sick! In my first trimester my only craving was Italian sandwiches 😆 so I ate a lot of deli meats that I probably shouldn’t have and my baby has been growing perfectly normal plus I’ve had a completely uneventful pregnancy (knock on wood). My OB also said she ate sushi when she was pregnant from a good source so…do what feels right for you.

My doctor said that they don’t go by that anymore. The risk of listeria is damn near non existent now. I was told sub sandwiches are fine and I can seafood twice a week. Just specific fish life swordfish is too high in mercury but crab, shrimp, lobster and whatnot is fine

Jersey mike is one of the only sandwich places I make an accepting for😅

@Jen @Mia @Jessica yess thank yall im glad. def omw to get one rn sooooo excitedddd 🥳🥳💗

I ate sandwiches with cold turkey meat my entire first trimester and so far a healthy pregnancy

Uh I eat sandwiches here and there I'll be craving them so every once and a while I'll eat me one 🤷🏽‍♀️ never had a problem

I’ve been wanting one too soo badly, but I have stuck to my guns and haven’t had deli meat, hot dogs, undercooked eggs, and steak. It’s been tough but almost to the finish line now!

@Crystal HOTDOGSSSS??? you not supposed to eat hot dogs? wtf nobody has told me that but then again i did just eat a deli sandwich soo everything should be good I HOPE!

& steak if it’s pink still?? cause I’ve been eating well done steak

I've eaten many costco hotdogs, plenty of jersey mikes, and lately, I've been snacking on salami cheese and crackers. What can I say I'm pregnant. Lol

I know! I love Costco hotdogs! lol if you ask Google what things you should avoid eating those are like the main things you shouldn’t eat, but says as long as they are cooked to 165/or steaming, that they should be fine. I just decided to be extra careful since I’m older with this baby. My first daughter was at 16 and being 35 now, I’m much more cognizant is all lol. I’m at the point in my pregnancy though we’re in like, I should be fine if I eat these things but I’m almost done so it’s like a game for me now haha
