Failed surgical management miscarriage
I had surgery for a missed miscarriage 3 weeks ago and today I took a pregnancy test and it came back with a strong positive! I called EPU and I had to go in for another scan. They said I’ve got retained tissue and I can’t wait for it to pass naturally over the next 2 weeks or I can have medication to speed it up.
Has anyone been in a similar situation or even just had the medication? What was it like?

I took the medication as my first option, it was bad cramping but not unbearable so might be worth a try, if most of the tissue is already gone it might not be so bad ♥️
I found the medication absolutely awful and it didn't eliminate all of the tissue anyway (in my case). I still needed surgery to get rid of the rest of it.
@Nikki the medication was the best for me personally. The drs explained the risks of medication vs d&c but for me, I didn't like the idea of it
