SCH - first trimester

Has anyone had an SCH? Is there a way to tell if it’s this vs a miscarriage?

i had a sch from 8 weeks to 14 weeks of pregnancy. i'm pretty sure the only way to tell is by an ultrasound. That's how I found out.

I had a SCH from 6weeks- til the second trimester. Idk when exactly it disappeared because I didn’t get any follow up ultrasounds until 20 weeks and it was gone by then, but was still present at 12 weeks. I was told any heavy bleeding go and get checked but I never bled, it was only seen on the ultrasound then disappeared.

I’ve had a few m/c’s. Normally I’d have slight bleeding around 5-6 weeks + deep pain in ovaries, and they can’t normally tell so early on ultrasound, but would see a fetal pole with no heartbeat. I would miscarry by 9-12wks pp. With my 3 living children, the heartbeat was always detected at the 6 week u/s.

@Aleah how was the bleeding if you had any?

it was bright red then immediately turned brown. Then had brown clumpy spotting for 7 weeks till it went away.

@Aleah any other symptoms

no other symptoms. I did bleed again at 14 weeks and still had the sch.

I had it show up in my second pregnancy around 10 weeks. I bled quite a bit, but heart was beating. The bleeding only happened 1x for maybe an hour. I think miscarriage has continuous bleeding from what the ob said
