Allergies
I am 5+5 weeks and I have been struck down by the dreaded allergies. Every single allergy tablet I have seen in the shop says do not use if pregnant and I doubt I'll find an open pharmacy tomorrow being bank holiday.
Does anyone have any recommendations of allergy tablets that are safe?

I use loratadine aswell but I’m 37 weeks I’m not sure if it’s based on how far into the pregnancy you are if it’s really bad call 111 and say you don’t really need an appointment but you’d like advice on hayfever treatment in early pregnancy
Loratadine is perfectly safe in pregnancy. Cetirizine is also a good alternative. You can use the BUMPS website to check if you’re in doubt. Unfortunately neither of those work for me so it might be a long summer 🙃

I had this last week and it was awful! I went to a pharmacist and they gave me loratadine, however I’m 29 weeks now and I think it depends on how far along you are as I think the earlier on you are the more harm they can cause. I would recommend finding your local out of hours pharmacy that open tomorrow.
