Constipation

Hi I know this has been mentioned before but what are people taking for constipation. It's bad for me today. Just wondered what over the counter product is any good. Thanks

You can get lactulose from the pharmacy or fybogel from the supermarkets. They seem to really help me

Lactulose and drinking lots of water does the magic for me.

Lots of water, chia seeds and flax seeds - good with fruit and yoghurt. And kiwi with skin on and pears 😍

Prunes !! If you want to go the natural root I was constipated for weeks they honestly work. Tinned ones are good

I’ve taken senna xx

Water and prunes 🙌🏻🙌🏻

I tried natural things but no joy. Fybogel chews were effective but pricey. Lactulose has worked the best for me. Gently gets things moving rather than a violent evacuation of the bowels.

Colace! My OB recommended it helps so much.

I tried everyone natural, only thing that seemed to work is Laxido. Don't worry it doesn't cause loose stool straight away. I take 2 a day and have no issues

Lots of water, prunes and chia seeds!

Bran flakes and lots of water 😊

Thanks all. Prunes seem to be jumping out as a recommendation! Will try this

Prune juice. Just don’t go out anywhere for a few hrs after drinking a whole pint
