Missed miscarriage

Hey girls Anyone had symptoms of a missed miscarriage. I’m not bleeding or anything but I don’t feel pregnant anymore and I don’t have a scan till next week. The anxiety is killing me.

How far along are you? I had a miscarriage before my little boy and rang the early pregnancy unit to be checked they saw me every 2 weeks until my 12 week scan for peace of mind! Maybe try get in contact with the hospital to enquire? Xx

I’m not in the boy mums group but this came up on my feed for some reason so thought I’d comment. Try not to worry, my little girl is nearly 5 months now and when I was in my first trimester I hardly had any symptoms what so ever. The few that I would get would come and go so I worried about a missed miscarriage so many times but everything was okay! I’d say definitely talk to your midwife or if you don’t have one yet your gp and I would highly recommend window to the womb if you want an early reassurance scan before your NHS 12 week one xx

@Sophie my first scan was there and they said it’s 5 weeks and they saw nothing and the nhs is giving scan for 12 weeks so I’m waiting for that

@Meg hey I’m about 10 weeks not too sure , not bleeding or anything so let’s see

I didn't feel pregnant for a little bit during my pregnancy and had anxiety waiting for my 12 week scanz so I paid private and got one done at 8 weeks

@Steamtrane Family I’ve paid for private already and their not exactly affordable

Your symptoms will start to fade, the closer you get to your second trimester, which is perfectly normal.

Mine disappeared by 10/11 weeks.

My symptoms were inconsistent throughout my first trimester always coming and going but my son was ok, I'm hoping for the best for you friend ❤️

@Shaa I know they are expensive

I had a missed miscarriage and I actually had symptoms of pregnancy even after the baby stopped growing and no heartbeat (like full on bad nausea) so don’t take “lack of symptoms” as a sign of that! Just try to relax and go to your next scheduled appointment! 💜

^ heavy on that. i had a missed as well before my current pregnancy and i didn’t know bc i still felt pregnant bc they say it takes time for the body to adjust back to normal but i also experienced my symptoms going away my current pregnancy and i was worried as well being as tho the first was a missed miscarriage.

My daughter had a scan at 5 weeks and they did not see anything, around 7 weeks they finally seen something because at the time her hcg levels were high enough to see something. She is now 20 weeks. You may have been to early and hcg levels not high enough

I had a missed miscarriage last year. Up until the day I had to go to hospital for the termination I had pregnancy symptoms such as nausea. I did however have a gut feeling something was wrong for weeks before I found out anything was wrong. I had the tiniest amount of bleeding at 10 weeks 5 days but it wasn’t until I was 11 weeks 1 day I found out the baby had died (at about 6 weeks) as that was when they could get me in for a scan. It might not be the same for every woman but I had a really grouchy bad mood with that pregnancy, almost angry for no reason. But with my healthy pregnancy it has been the opposite. I believe the toxins the baby was giving off made my mood change. If you are worried contact your midwife.

Honestly, symptoms or no symptoms means nothing. I had a mmc (molar pregnancy) last year and had horrible morning sickness and other symptoms all the way through until I had surgery at 12 weeks (walked into hospital trying not to throw up, walked out with not even a sniff of nausea) even though the baby had passed at about 7 weeks. The next pregnancy I still had horrible sickness and I took the stance that 'everything is fine unless someone tells me otherwise' and I'm currently nap trapped by my 10 week old. Xxx
