Is anyone else losing friendships?

@Cassie I will never understand what's the drama ? Is it us ?

I kinda distanced myself from my friends during my pregnancy and got close with people who were pregnant or already a mom. In that way i felt i was heard and felt they understood me better.

I just think it's that "friends" don't want to deal with someone else's kids or they want to party when we have to grow up and be a mom but sad thing is even though a couple friends even had kids shortly after I did or just before but they still just gave up on talking to me too maybe just responsibility's get to much or idk but ya my friends and family all disowned me so I'm kinda just clueless why

Yep. I had 1 that we reconnected after my bub was born as she found out she was pregnant and all of a sudden everyone in the friendship circle she thought she was close to just stopped talking to her. She even ask me if the same thing happened to me and I was like yep. It’s also that your on different paths now and they are probably still in the faze of still wanting to party and drink. That’s all I put mine down to

I keep hearing people with no kids say they purposely distanced themselves from their friends who were pregnant/having kids. I even seen one girl say once she sees a pregnancy announcement she knows the friendship is doomed. Like?? That hurt to see lowkey lol

I have a few that I talk to almost everyday. But some that haven't reached out once since I told them. Says a lot about people

yeah not sure why this happens but it happened to me too. My mum said it also happened to her when she was pregnant with me. I think it’s down to people’s maturity and also now this amazing thing is happening in your life, the things that weren’t even worth your time to begin with are leaving

@Leah WTF!! That’s so wrong. I think out of my old friendship circle I have 1 friend that stayed in touch through my pregnancy and even now 18months later and she doesn’t have kids. She wants them so bad but hasn’t had any yet
