decreased movement

so i’m 24w1d today. and i have been feeling my sweet boy move since i was a little over 22 weeks. at first i was able to feel him tap dance on my bladder every single night when i layed down loll. but now the past few days haven’t felt him nearly as much. i can still feel him but it’s nowhere near as strong as it was before the last few days. i was just wondering if i should be concerned or if maybe he just shifted positions and now because i have an anterior placenta it’s just harder for me to feel him move.

What have you been eating? If you eat carbs and sugars, it will put baby to sleep for 6-8 hours. I you stick to protein based foods, it will keep baby full without the crash. Once you eat something sweet, baby will start to bounce off the walls. Another possible explanation is baby is going through a growth spurt. There’s no concern unless you start to feel very sick. Then you will need to see your OB. Once he is head down, the kicks will move to the top of the fundus and having an anterior placenta does play a big favor into it. It takes all of the hits (a good thing lol) I work at an ultrasound office and we see and hear this very very often. I’m also going to school for nursing ☺️ If you want to double check everything is ok, find an ultrasound office near you to get one done. And if you do 3D/4D, 28-32 weeks is the best time frame. Baby is nice and plump 🥰 Any other concerns, call your OB. Better to be safe and have peace of mind. 💙 Congratulations on your baby boy! 🩵
