Painful fibroids

Hi! I am currently 24 weeks pregnant and I have 2 sizable fibroids… 1 is 9cm and it’s in my cul de sac behind my uterus and another one that’s 6cm at the top of my uterus. I’m currently experiencing my 3rd round of fibroid pain! I first experienced it in the first trimester and then the 2nd time was around 18 weeks and then now. It’s so painful, I can barely sleep…it hurts when I walk! Tylenol does not work at allllll! It’s just continuous pain all day! I try to do heating pads and it doesn’t provide much relief. Guess I’m just looking for some reassurance and see what other mamas have done to help with the pain.

Try magnesium spray oil (spray directly on your tummy) and take vitamin d and magnesium supplements

Hi! So sorry to hear you’re going through this. I had two week-long episodes of fibroid pain. One was at 17 weeks and the next at 20 weeks. It was the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. (I recently read that some women say it’s worse than labor, so that was weirdly validating!) I couldn’t walk either and Tylenol did NOTHING for me. I was taking up to 3000mg a day. The OB ended up prescribing me Oxy so I could sleep. I took way less than prescribed and once I took it, I felt my body starting to heal. I was worried that this would be the new norm but I’m now three weeks post-fibroid pain and I feel like a whole new woman. I hope you find relief soon and stay encouraged. If you haven’t already, my suggestion would be to ask your doc about what other pain relief they can prescribe 🫶🏻

Hi! So sorry for the pain you are feeling. I am currently on the same boat. Have been laying down because it hurts to walk, sneeze or turn. My back starting to turn into stone. It really horrible pain this fibroid pain. Giving me some pain tolerance for birth. The pains really started this week and I've been on Tylenol. Trying to take it day by day and hope I will be in my post fibroid pain soon

@Alissa I agree!! The fibroid pain during my pregnancy was wayyyyyy more painful than labor!
