Incognito in Baby sleep

Stridor whilst sleeping

Putting my son on his back for sleep makes his stridor really bad and he's frequently awake just thrashing about (I really worry he's struggling to breathe!) Are there other sleep positions we could try? I know on his back is the best for safe sleep but I can't cope hearing him struggle. He's only 5 weeks old
