Potty training

My LO is 2 years 3 months and is showing no obvious signs of being ready to potty train. I've been OK with this because he seems advanced in other areas like letters, counting etc. Just yesterday I found out 3 of my NCT friends who have LOs the same age are all suddenly potty training. I know I shouldn't compare and...

Potty training

So we’ve stopped and started potty training for a few months- not ideal I know but we’ve just had our second baby. My toddler is really good at going for a wee when he has absolutely nothing on but as soon as he has pants on he has accidents? I also don’t know where to start when it comes to nursery, because ideally...

SOS!!

Hey! My son is 6 months old. He had colic that was resolved after discovering acid reflux and dairy protein intolerance. We took the appropriate steps to deal with those and it's been fine. He's teething (4 teeth at once) and he gets his Tylenol, frozen bananas, and plenty of teething toys. Out of nowhere, though, h...

Teeth

My son is 2 in a week and the battle we have on a daily basis to brush his teeth is ridiculous. He screams and cry’s, and has done from day 1. However, I have noticed within the past week when he is eating he’s screwing up his face when he initially puts food in his mouth. Despite the daily fight with brushing his ...

Potty training

My husband thinks we should put puppy pads everywhere whilst trying to potty train our daughter, but I don't think that's doable, as we aren't always in the same room, and they aren't going to stay in 1 place. I say clean the area with stain & odour remover What did you guys do?

Is this teething?

Baby has just started doing this with her mouth. What does it mean? Is it teething? One tooth has recently broken through. Also, she doesn’t seem to be drinking as much of her bottle. We’ve started weaning, but she will only take a couple of spoonfuls before she turns away.

POTTY TRAINING 🚽

Hi guys, I’ve started potty training with my daughter. For a few weeks I’ve been putting her on the potty a few times a day to get used to it and she’s been doing wees and occasional poos. Today is the day I’ve decided to go cold turkey and leave a nappy off all day. She’s doing absolutely amazing but she seems to w...

EC with an irregular pooper

Hi all! I’m starting EC with my 5mth old boy. My focus is going to be more on poops than pee but I’m finding it tricky because he is totally irregular! Some days he will poop twice and then other times we go days with no poop. Any recommendations on how to help identify the communication would be awesome! At this st...

He’s nearly 10 weeks old and constantly has his hands in his mouth now and dribbles so much! This was literally just after a feed too so definitely wasn’t hungry

Potty training

Why is the advice to wait until children are 2+ years before potty training. My baby is almost 4 months and gives me obvious cues when she needs a poo. I will sit her up when she tells me she needs a poo and she will do one. It got me thinking. Why do we teach our babies to pee and poo in nappies just to retrain t...

Potty training

My daughter was so interested in going potty earlier this year and she recognizes the acts of both poop and pee. We never quite got the timing down then one day she just decided she’s not into it. We’ve tried timers and put her down every 20-30. We’ve tried treats after successful goes. We had a small potty for her ...

Sick baby or teething?

I’ve got a 7.5 month old girl, last night she kept waking up crying and screaming. I noticed her nose was really snotty. (She wakes up during the night normally but goes right back to sleep with the boob) This time was different, she didn’t want to eat but rocking her back to sleep did the job. I’ve heard that ba...
