Hm

I feel guilty like I messed up my daughter because she’s only 4 months and I’ve dropped my phone on her head a couple times and she rolled off the couch once. I feel like I ruined her is this normal?

When was her last check up? Im sure she is fine but you definitely do need to be more careful if you are going to be on your phone dont hold it near her and was she sleeping on the couch unattended? If so that is very dangerous for many reasons falling off is 1 but also a suffocation risk. Personally if my 4 month old fell off anything i would take them in to be seen immediately

I dont want to sound mean but maybe you need to put the phone down bcuz 4x on her head and shes only 4 months is crazy especially since cell phones are hard as heck.

Girl I thought I was crazy with my second. I thought I had become a bad mom because my second keeps on getting hurt…. My doctor told me that it’s okay!!! Kids get hurt allllllll the time. My second has no sense of danger he is always hurting himself not paying attention. You are an amazing mom. Don’t ever doubt yourself! I promise it gets better even if it doesn’t feel that way. My second is always tripping over himself (not to mention the fact that he fell off our bed multiple times when he was 9m to 18m) What I’m trying to say is ITS TOTALLY NORMAL!!!!! You’re doing amazing mama. Don’t worry okay? ❤️❤️❤️

@Ashley shes the one hurting the baby though by dropping a hard phone on the baby head more than once. Thats not the babies fault

@Asia it happens…. Doesn’t mean she’s a bad mom… y’all act like 4times is equally as bad as 4x an hour/a day. The kid is 4 months old. Babies are resilient….shit happens… she would not be a good mom if she didn’t bring any recognition to this. Have y’all actually seen a bad mom? Or do y’all make this ish up in y’all’s head?

@Ashley i never said she was a bad mom. But maybe she needs to stop having the phone over the babies head. Its still a hard object on a soft babies head and the fact she didnt learn from the first 2x droping a phone on the baby is crazy. Im just saying SHE be more careful. Not that shes a bad mom. She should keep the phone away when holding baby.

@Ashley no one is saying she is a bad mom and yes accidents happen but as parents we have to protect them as much as we can and avoid it. You said your bay fell off the bed once im pretty sure after that you made changes so it didn’t continue to happen

Girl I literally went to my son’s pediatrician crying because I thought that since he rolled off my bed/ his own bed multiple times before he was 2 and he had multiple bruises on his head and body before he was 2…. I thought I was a terrible mom….

Kids GET HURT!!! Doesn’t mean you’re a bad parent… you’re a bad parent if you tell your kids to be a bully and make fun of people

@Ashley thank you my doctor said she’s perfectly fine too and babies fall all the time and get hurt and it’s not I drop the phone it’s she grabs my hand or tries to grab the phone and it falls I just feel like guilty but I know he’s fine I just wanted to know if anyone else can relate to my family said I fell a lot too lol

@Ashley again girl no one is calling her a bad mom or shaming her she asked for opinions and she got them? I mean dropping a phone on your baby is an easy fix is it not? And all i said was leaving the baby on a couch can be unsafe, is it not?

@Ashley kids do get hurt… but there’s a difference between a child having an accident and a phone dropped on them multiple times. No one was bullying OP or calling her a bad parent - just pointing out that some accidents are fully preventable.
