Baby won’t go to grandma

I live with my baby and baby’s grandma but struggling as my baby gets really upset whenever held by her. I don’t know what to do, nothing works. She could say hello to baby and that’s it, it just sets off the crying. Grandma is great with baby it breaks my heart and hers that my baby won’t settle with her. Baby is breast fed and with me majority of the time. Any advice? Will this pass? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you x

How old is your baby?

Three months old x @Katya

Does Grandma usually have baby to give you a break? My lo went through a phase of crying when seeing her Grandma after initially she was her favourite person and we realised it was because she thought she was being taken away from me. We did a few days of me holding baby for the day with Grandma playing from a distance then slowly her holding my lo with me holding Los hand too and staying close by all the time then popping to the kitchen etc. Now she's fine and adores her grandma again and willhappily stay with her. Think it was more a separation issue as she was the only person I would leave her with other than my partner

@Lucy she did when baby was a newborn but now she’s that little older it’s made a huge difference. She used to be fine, I could get things done etc, I’ll give that a try, thank you so much xx
