Down syndrome screening

Heyyy, so I had the Down syndrome test done at my 12 week scan on 1st October, they told me if I was high risk I’d have a phone call within a week and if low risk I would have a letter in the post with the results within 2 weeks. It’s now been over 3 weeks and still had nothing come through and I’ve been checking my badger app and there’s no update on there either! Has this happened to anyone else? X

I had my tests on 14th October and got my results today. When is your next appointment? They may be able to tell you then x

Hey lovely. So I just had my 16 week appointment with my consultant today (consultant led due to migraines). And I asked the same thing, I hadn’t received any news about the Down syndrome results and I was worried. So the nurse in the room went to the screening department in the hospital and printed off the results for us and it all came back clear. But she was saying that there’s a lot of midwives at the moment that aren’t updating you or posting the results letter for some reason. So try not to worry lovely, it could just be that your midwife has forgot to post it! I’d give her a ring and ask her directly for the results lovely xxx

I had mine on the 3rd and got my letter today. 1 in 5000 chance I think it was. I had my 16 week appointment Monday and she had the results but couldn’t tell me just said low risk. She said they can be really delayed to post T the moment x

I was the same I had mine done on 30th September and still haven’t had the results, had a midwife appointment for something yesterday and asked her and she said they were on the system not sure why they haven’t sent them but all was fine , seems that there is a delay in getting results out possibly ? I would call and ask they should be able to see on the system xx
