Anxiety

Does the constant anxiety ever go away? šŸ˜” I am a FTM to a gorgeous 20 month old little boy and I love him with all my heart but my anxiety is like something Iā€™ve never experienced before. Heā€™s constantly got a snotty nose and a cough and recently coming into the winter months Iā€™m so worried about him. Is this normal? Am I normal? I feel like each day is a struggle with myself and I love being his mum and I adore being a mum itā€™s all Iā€™ve ever wanted but itā€™s so hard sometimes. Does anyone else worry a lot about their babies health?

I suffer with anxiety and I have an 20 month year old too. When she was first born and my later got covid and I was very anxious on her getting it but if she caught it there isnā€™t really anything you can do. Babies and children will get poorly and believe it or not itā€™s a good way for them get unwell at times as it builds up there immune system. Best thing I advise you to do is keep an eye on his temp. A high temp in babies is over 40. Give him some calpol he can have 5 mil up to 4 times a day. That will help with the temperature and the cough and snotty nose. Yes itā€™s completely normal to feel anxious at times itā€™s a common mother instinct. I understand you it is hard and itā€™s not easy us mothers have to be get up and do our daily chores whilst battling with a child haha. Honestly donā€™t worry to much just keep an eye on him and the best thing is to keep pushing fluids and he may not want to eat food, if you have any food pouches they work for my daughter and they were great.
