Thrush
I’m 33 weeks pregnant I have thrush again it just won’t clear I never had it until I got pregnant! The GP has prescribed me the Canaston pessary and has said I have to put one tablet in my vagina each night for 7 days. I’m an overthinker but isn’t that like a lot of medication going so close to the baby? Just worried it’ll affect the baby or irritate my cervix?? What do you think?
I had the same problem, and thought the same about the medication. I told the doctor my problems with taking that medication and they basically told me I could either use a cream that would relieve the pain it was causing until birth or I could just take the medication and not have the problem. Apparently thrush has very little to no effect on the baby.
