hair curling & growth

ladies, when did ur babes hair start growing & curling ?? i have 4c type hair & my husband has 3c .my baby was born with minimal , straight hair. he’s 2+ mon now & im certain he’ll have curly hair however im wondering when it’ll curl & when the growth will start to pick up

Honestly my baby’s hair didn’t get curly till about 6 months, but I did noticed before that anytime her hair was wet like during bath it would get curly but once it dried it would go straight. I highly recommend changing your sheets to satin silk because it’ll help with the balding. My baby’s hair was getting a big bald spot on the back due to bed sheets and the hats she would wear. Anything that isn’t satin silk is pretty harsh on their hair. Once I made that change i did notice a huge change in her hair and the bald spot grew out nice and thick. On Amazon they have pretty affordable bed sheets and baby winter hat with satin silk in them. Definitely put some coconut oil, olive or avocado oil to help keep moisture and detangle any knots. Honestly you probably won’t notice any curly until their has some really length if you aren’t seeing it now.
